The Kalasääski rug features a lively striped pattern designed by Maija Isola in 1962. The freely painted vertical and diagonal stripes are coloured in natural, earthy tones that bring a sense of rhythm and movement to any room of the home. Hand-tufted from 100% New Zealand wool, the Kalasääski rug creates an atmosphere that is both fresh and calming. It’s easy to imagine the wool rug enhancing the interior of a bedroom, living room, or even a children’s room. The Marimekko rug is produced in collaboration with the Dutch rug manufacturer Brink & Campman.
